Northwestern lost its tenth straight Big Ten game against Indiana at Wrigley Field on Friday, losing 9-2. The Friendly Confines were everything but that for the Wildcats (19-25-1, 7-17 Big Ten), who failed to score a run until the seventh inning. Chicago Cubs’ all-star centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong threw out the ceremonial first pitch and new NU women’s basketball coach Carla Berube sang “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh inning stretch. Despite the change of scenery and pageantry, the ’Cats in-conference struggles remained.
