Less than two months after Northwestern lacrosse won the national championship on its home turf at Martin Stadium, teams from two professional leagues took the field.

The Premier Lacrosse League and Women’s Lacrosse League played a combined five games on the shores of Lake Michigan over the weekend. It was NU’s second straight year hosting a weekend of PLL play.

In the WLL’s lone matchup between the New York Charging and the Maryland Charm, seven former NU players saw action on their college’s field.
