At Northwestern’s annual VentureCat competition for student businesses, McCormick senior Trevor Abbott and McCormick sophomore Quinn McGinley took home $100,000 for their startup HaptE, a computer vision system designed to improve the efficiency of warehouse operations. Finalists presented their pitches in a showcase before winners were announced.
