If you’re looking for weekend plans, here are some performances and events on and off campus you won’t want to miss.

Fusion Dance Company: Out of Focus 

Ryan Auditorium

Friday 9 p.m., Saturday 7 and 10 p.m. 

Tickets: $5 for students, $10 for general public 

Fusion is presenting its annual spring show. Each show will feature two guest performances including Northwestern Deeva, Graffiti Dancers, Thunk A Cappella and NU K-Dance.

Dittmar Community Show: When Homeward You Turn

Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Admission: Free

“When Homeward You Turn” is an exhibit showcasing art in different mediums that allow each artist to grapple and unravel what home means to them. 

CirqueUs Presents: One Man’s Trash: A Repurposed Circus 

The Actors Gymnasium  

Saturday 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday 1 and 4 p.m.  

Tickets: $15 for students, $25 for adults  

Following its original run in 2016 and a successful 2022 revival, “One Man’s Trash” is back again for its third national tour. Featuring unique and daring circus acts, the show incorporates remains from trash cans and garage to create a production like no other. 

“Transformations” 

Evanston Art Center 

Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 to 4 p.m. 

Admission: Free 

This is the last weekend to see Evanston Art Center’s presentation of “Transformations,” featuring sculptures, digital prints and other works of Edwin Shelton, Toby Zallman and Ryan Zoghlin. Each artist interacts with ubiquitous, used and discarded materials to recast them into unique works of beauty.
