Memorial service to be held for Rebecca Quint

A memorial service for Weinberg sophomore Rebecca Quint will be held at 7 p.m. on April 8 in the McCormick-Tribune Center Forum, Northwestern announced early Thursday morning.

Quint, 19, of Concord, Mass., was found dead in her Foster-Walker Complex room March 1. The Cook County medical examiner’s office classified the death as a suicide.

“Rebecca’s parents will be present at the service and are eager to share memories of Rebecca with her friends and acquaintances,” according to an e-mail sent by the University at about 1 a.m.

A reception will follow the service at the Forum, 1870 Campus Dr.
