Located at 1245 Chicago Ave., patrons can attend shows featuring local musicians and larger national artists in an intimate setting – making it the perfect place for a date night.
The stage at Evanston SPACE, hidden next to Union Pizzeria, has seen many acts over the decades it’s been in business. Most notably, the 250-person venue has witnessed The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile and Alabama Shakes performing on its stage.
Established in 2008, The Society for Preservation of Arts and Culture in Evanston, or SPACE, provides concerts in genres from folk to rock to jazz, according to their website.
In addition to three off-site music festivals, Evanston SPACE has a recording studio and a stage, both of which were expanded in 2023. On Friday and Saturday nights, this venue is perfect for a night out and is also available for private event reservations.
