Northwestern’s women’s basketball extended their losing streak to nine games Sunday, as the Wildcats (8-19, 2-14 Big Ten) were unable to cool Illinois’ (19-8, 9-7 Big Ten) blistering hot shooting in a 92-65 loss. Sophomore forward Tayla Thomas’s 25 points and dominance in the paint was not enough to outlast the Fighting Illini, who were 12-18 from three.
