It is nearly impossible to navigate Northwestern’s campus without passing a construction site. From Deering Library to the scenic shoreline of Lake Michigan, Northwestern’s campus is littered with cranes, bulldozers and hard hats. Many of these changes are part of construction projects the University said are designed to improve academics, student experiences and sustainability.
Ryan Field is expected to reopen in 2026.
