Man arrested in connection with distracted driving

A Chicago man was arrested Tuesday in connection with distracted driving, driving with a revoked license and having no proof of auto insurance, police said.

The man, 62, was stopped by police officers after they observed him driving while talking on his cell phone in the area of Oakton Street and Dewey Avenue, Dugan said. Upon checking his license, they discovered it had been revoked, Dugan said.

A court date has not yet been set because driving with a revoked license is a felony.
