Friday, Jan. 22: Do some good for Haiti and your stomach at the newly opened DMK Burger Bar in Lakeview.’ DMK is a fancier Edzo’s, with toppings like olive tapenade and tzatziki and bevvies like craft beers and custom red wine blends. Saturday, Jan. 23: ‘Get sauced’ at Wicker Park’s new upscale 6 Corners Sports Bar for yummy pub grub with dipping sauces like cheesy alfredo, cilantro-spiked ranch, wasabi ginger and honey barbeque. They boast 13 flat screens, making this the only venue on this perfect trifecta of hipster streets that my frat-guy friends would be caught dead in. Sunday, Jan. 24: Dean Durkin does yoga? Get your downward-dog on at a yoga class taught by Professor Thomas Durkin, as part of NU Stands for Haiti. Bring your own mat if you have one. Monday, Jan. 25: Ever since returning from a quarter in Madrid, I’ve been itching for a decent glass of sangria.’ The new Mez’eacute; Tapas Lounge might just fit the bill.’ This cozy, sexy lounge offers $5 glasses of sangria, $3 select import beers and $3 tapas all night.
