AirHop shuttle service smoother on second run

Before and after Winter Break, Northwestern’s student-run airport shuttle service, AirHop, transported students from campus to Midway and O’Hare Airports for the second time.

Northwestern Student Holdings launched the program over Thanksgiving Break to provide a cheaper and more reliable alternative.

“The service ran smoother this time because we learned a few things since Thanksgiving about operating internally and scheduling the buses,” said Chris Lawlor, president of AirHop and Weinber junior. “We still have a few things we want to work out before Spring Break, andnow we have a full quarter to work on it.”

This winter students paid $10 for the coach bus to O’Hare and $15 to Midway. Reservations can be made online.
