Rapper Cochise will be the new penultimate performer on FMO Stage, according to a joint Instagram post from For Members Only and Mayfest Productions Friday afternoon.
The announcement came shortly after the organizations released a statement that morning saying rapper Trim would no longer be able to attend Dillo Day due to “medical reasons.”
Cochise is known for his distinct style, blending upbeat production and instrumentals with pitched vocals. The rapper’s most popular song, “Tell Em,” a collaboration with fellow rapper $NOT, blew up on TikTok with an accompanying trend.
Cochise’s latest album, “WHY ALWAYS ME?,” was released in 2024, but the artist has released a slew of singles in the interim, including “NOBODY MOVE” in March and his latest single, “SKIN CARE,” in April.
Dillo Day will take place May 16 at the Lakefill, and admission is free for Northwestern undergraduate students.
