Chicago rapper BabyChiefDoit will headline the FMO Stage, according to a joint Mayfest Productions and FMO announcement Wednesday evening.
The teenage rapper, known for his drill and trap sounds, first gained popularity when his 2025 single “WENT WEST” entered the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 71. His third album, “RAMBO,” is scheduled to be released sometime in May, a little over a year after the release of his album “ZOO LIFE.”
In anticipation of the album, BabyChiefDoit dropped a single, aptly named “RAMBO,” on Wednesday.
BabyChiefDoit rounds out the five-performer lineup on the FMO Stage this year, its largest lineup since its founding in 2019. FMO Stage was established as part of a collaboration between Mayfest Productions and For Members Only, Northwestern’s Black student alliance, in an effort to highlight Black artists.
Dillo Day will take place May 16 at the Lakefill, and admission is free for Northwestern undergraduate students.
