After a season full of disappointing losses, Northwestern entered the Big Ten Tournament looking to end this year’s campaign on a positive note. Led by senior forward Nick Martinelli’s 24 points, the Wildcats (14-18, 5-15 Big Ten) defeated Penn State 76-66 at the United Center on Tuesday night. NU scored 24 points off the Nittany Lions’ (12-20, 3-17 Big Ten) 17 turnovers. The ’Cats face No. 10-seeded Indiana on Wednesday.
