No. 42 Northwestern opened up Big Ten conference play at the Combe Tennis Center with a 4-2 win over Washington. The Wildcats (13-4, 1-1 Big Ten) started strong winning the doubles point, followed by singles match wins by junior Cyrus Mahjoob, junior Ethan Schiffman and freshman Cooper Han.
