Northwestern snapped a 10-game losing streak with a 73-54 win over Rutgers at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Sunday, earning its first Big Ten victory of the season. Junior guard Casey Harter led the way with a career-high 21 points, while senior forward Grace Sullivan chipped in 20 as the Wildcats (7-10, 1-5 Big Ten) controlled the game on both ends. Despite the team struggling early against the press, the ’Cats turned up the heat in the second quarter, outscoring the Knights 24-12, and they never looked back.
