Captured: Learning to dance with Fusion

Over the course of an hour, a room full of students learned, danced and danced some more. Weinberg sophomore Raymi Gil taught her own choreography to Efecto by Bad Bunny in one of Fusion Dance Company’s four open dance classes, which were held in the Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday and Thursday.
Gil said her song choice was inspired by Hispanic Heritage Month, which lasts from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
“I feel like there’s not a lot of people who do Hispanic songs,” Gil said.
