A 66-year-old woman reported Friday that several items were missing from her home near the 200 block of Ridge Avenue in south Evanston.

The woman said she was away for a work trip from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, and when she returned, she noticed damage to the front door of her residence on Ridge Avenue, Evanston Police Department Cmdr. Ryan Glew said. The woman said her lock was broken, and her belongings had obviously been moved around, according to Glew.

She reported a television valued at $300, a watch valued at $300 and a floral shower curtain valued at $20 were stolen.

An officer from the EPD responded to the scene, but there are currently no suspects, and no one is in custody.
