A vehicle struck a daycare center Tuesday morning, and the driver sustained some injuries, according to a Tweet by Evanston Police.

The vehicle collided with the Reba Early Learning Center at 740 Custer Ave. around 6:50 a.m. No children were injured as the car did not reach inside of the building. RELC is a preschool for children aged 2 to 5-years-old.

The crash site is now clear, EPD said, and the driver has been transported to the hospital.
