Two Northwestern players were named second-team all-Big Ten, the conference announced Monday.

Senior safety Ibraheim Campbell was voted to the second team by conference media, while junior cornerback Nick VanHoose earned the accolade from Big Ten coaches.

Campbell also earned an honorable mention from coaches, as did freshman running back Justin Jackson and junior defensive end Dean Lowry. Senior center Brandon Vitabile, senior linebacker Chi Chi Ariguzo and junior superback Dan Vitale drew honorable mention awards from both coaches and media.

Campbell, Vitabile and Ariguzo were also selected as all-conference honorable mentions last season.
