Tiffany Day will be the headliner for The Burrow stage at the 54th Dillo Day, Mayfest Productions announced Friday evening.
Day was announced as the headliner live during the Korean American Student Association’s spring show Friday evening.
The formerly indie, currently hyperpop and electronic-pop artist first gained recognition in 2017, when she posted a YouTube Short of her singing Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” into an Italian well. The video has amassed around 8 million views.
Day found further online popularity in 2025 as her music transitioned from indie to a more hyperpop sound. The singles from her sophomore album “HALO,” released in April, became popular on TikTok. Singles like “PRETTY4U” and “AMERICAN GIRL” have millions of streams on Spotify.
“Everything about Tiffany Day—her music, her visuals, her persona—is vibrant with life and personality,” Communication senior and Mayfest promotions member Anoushka Dasgupta said in a news release. “I love the extreme honesty of her lyrics, and their combination with her maximalist music production makes her music something you want to mosh to, but also something you can deeply relate with.”
After a brief pause following her show in London on Friday evening, Day is resuming her “HALO TOUR” with a June stop in Illinois during the Summer Smash festival.
Day’s appearance at Dillo Day is jointly sponsored by KASA and the Chinese Students Association.
“Tiffany Day is one of the most exciting artists we’ve ever welcomed to the Dillo Day stage,” McCormick senior and Mayfest Senior Bookings Member Rachana Aluri said in a news release. “Her music is electric, raw, cathartic, and speaks to our generation for a reason.”
Dillo Day will take place May 16 at the Lakefill, and admission is free for Northwestern undergraduate students. Tickets must be reserved by May 14.
