Northwestern lacrosse dominated Marquette on Friday, winning 25-7 at Ryan Fieldhouse. The game started slowly for the ’Cats, only reaching 4-2 at the end of the first quarter. They turned up the heat in the second quarter, led by senior attacker Madison Taylor’s five goals and one assist. During halftime, NU honored legendary attacker Erin Coykendall with a tribute video. The ’Cats’ attack kept a strong press, holding Marquette to 13-23 on clears. NU begins a week-long break before facing Stony Brook on Saturday.
