Collegiate lacrosse saw a massive upset Monday night when the unranked Colorado Buffaloes beat No. 2 Northwestern 10-9. It was the Wildcats’ first home loss to an unranked program since 2002. Senior attacker Madison Taylor led NU with six goals. The game followed the ’Cats’ decisive 20-12 victory over No. 3 Boston College on Friday. NU returns to action on Saturday with a home game against No. 20 Army.
