Commencement for the Class of 2026 will be held on June 14. The celebration will return to the United Center for the third year in a row, Northwestern announced Tuesday.
Individual school convocations will take place on the Evanston campus during Graduation Weekend between June 12-15, according to the news release.
In previous years, commencement ceremonies have been at Ryan Field, which is expected to finish construction in 2026. The final steel structural beam was installed on Oct. 9 after two and a half years of construction.
The University’s president will speak at the ceremony along with a student speaker and a commencement speaker, who has yet to be announced. The Class of 2025 hosted Steve Carell as its commencement speaker.
Pritzker School of Law’s convocation will take place on May 15 and Feinberg School of Medicine’s commencement will be on May 18. Northwestern Qatar’s graduation events are set for May 4, according to the University.
Details on ticketing and regalia will be released in February.
