Rapolas Ivanauskas is out for the rest of the 2017-18 season after undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery. The redshirt freshman forward, who also missed all of the 2016-17 season with an injury to the same shoulder, has played in only 11 minutes in his Northwestern career.

In those 11 minutes, all of which have come at the end of blowouts this season, Ivanauskas has yet to score, racking up only three rebounds and five fouls while missing his only two field goal attempts.

Ivanauskas was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, according to 247sports and Rivals, two major recruiting websites. Ivanauskas has yet to see significant action for the Wildcats and has been hampered by injury woes throughout his time at NU.
