Unknown men assault Evanston woman
Two unknown men assaulted an Evanston teen early Sunday morning, police said.
The 18-year-old woman was walking in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue when she was approached by the men, who were wearing black hoodies and bandanas, Evanston Police Cmdr. Jay Parrott said.
Parrott said the men displayed a black handgun but made no verbal threat. The woman then decided to walk back to her home, and the men did not follow her into the residence, Parrott said.
