Northwestern added 21 players Wednesday on National Signing Day.
“We as a staff are confident we’ve signed a group of young men who are tremendous fits for our program athletically, academically and socially,” head coach Pat Fitzgerald said. “These 21 individuals are joining a program with a lot of momentum and I look forward to the contributions they’ll make toward helping us achieve our goals in years to come.”
The 19 scholarship players and two walk-ons will replace the winningest class in school history and attempt to carry forward the momentum from the school’s first bowl win in 64 years.
