Walgreens window broken, cigarettes stolen
A man broke into Walgreens, 635 Chicago Ave., early Thursday morning and stole packs of Marlboro cigarettes.
EPD responded to the store’s burglary alarm and, after arriving on scene, discovered that the window of the front door was smashed, a possible entry point for the burglar.
The burglar is described as a man 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. More details regarding the person of interest remain unknown, but Parrott said detectives are still investigating the case.
