Northwestern advanced to the finals for the eighth consecutive year with a 9-7 win over Maryland.
In the rematch of last year’s final, the Wildcats trailed 5-4 at the halftime, but went on a 4-0 run to take a 8-6 lead, which they never gave up.
Senior midfielder Jessica Russo and junior midfielder Taylor Thornton scored two goals apiece for NU. Senior attacker Shannon Smith did not score a goal, but had four assists.
The Cats will play Syracuse on Sunday night in the finals.
