Nine Evanston elementary schools recently painted snow plows to match the theme “Recycle Smart: Use your Cart.” The plows will be on display in front of the Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., until Friday. Residents can vote on their favorite plow online or by phone. The painted plows are easier to scrape snow off of, according to cityofevanston.org.
