Signing Day 2013: Hunter Niswander

Hunter Niswander (6-5, 210) K

Niswander was both the punter and kicker at his high school. He has a big time leg on both his punts and field goals thanks to his height (6-5). There’s a chance he could end up doing both at NU although that would be a fairly tricky situation if he were to ever get injured in a game. Niswander does have very solid mechanics on all his kicks and punts and posts great hang time on his punts. He might need a year to work on his accuracy but there’s a lot to be excited about for this kicker.
