A&O Productions announced Monday that alternative R&B and dance pop artist Rochelle Jordan and indie rock artist camille blackman are performers for its Ball concert. The two artists join Canadian indie-pop band Men I Trust, which was announced as the concert’s headliner April 13.
Jordan, who grew up in Toronto, is known for her genre-spanning music, illustrated by her collaborations with artists such as KAYTRANADA and Farrah Fawx. Her latest album, “Through the Wall,” was critically acclaimed for both its R&B and dance house inspirations.
Jordan is currently on her Through the Wall tour, which she announced in December. Her next stop is in Minneapolis, the day following her performance at Ball.
Announced as Ball’s opener, blackman is an LA-based artist who has received acclaim for her raspy, soulful vocals. Her newest single, “the view,” is scheduled to be released May 1, amid her touring as a supporting artist for neo-soul performer Zinadelphia.
The sold-out event will be April 22 at Metro Chicago.
