The Kellogg School of Management’s new Ann McIlrath Drake Executive Center will honor Ann Drake’s (Kellogg ’84) $70 million of philanthropy, the institution announced Tuesday.
With her most recent gift to support Kellogg’s new center for global engagement and innovative learning, Drake became the largest donor in the school’s history.
The Ann McIlrath Drake Executive Center is adjacent to the Kellogg Global Hub and will be connected via an underground corridor to create “One Kellogg,” according to Kellogg. The project is a core part of the Kellogg Full Circle Campaign, a $600 million fundraising initiative by the University to reinvent business education. The campaign has raised $314 million to date.
President and founder of Lincoln Road Enterprises, Drake leads a philanthropic organization focused on elevating women’s leadership and creating a future with women at the forefront of business, science, design, technology and discovery.
Before launching Lincoln Road Enterprises, Drake was the chairman and CEO of DSC Logistics, a supply chain and logistic management enterprise. Drake, a “trailblazer” in the field of supply chain management, revolutionized the industry by elevating supply chain services to an essential component of successful business strategy, according to Kellogg.
Drake also serves as a member of the school’s Global Advisory Board, providing counsel to Kellogg’s dean and senior administrators.
Once complete, the Ann McIlrath Drake Executive Center will house Kellogg’s Executive MBA and Executive Education programs, while also being utilized by Kellogg students.
