If you’re looking for weekend plans, here are some performances and events on and off campus you won’t want to miss.

Refresh Undercover

Ryan Family Auditorium

Friday 9 p.m. and Saturday 7 and 10 p.m.

Tickets: $5 for students, $10 general admission

Refresh Dance Crew, a Northwestern choreography and freestyle dance team, is performing its seventh annual spring show.

ODBeyonce: Renaissance

Shanley Pavilion

Friday and Saturday 7 and 10 p.m.

Tickets: $5 for students, $10 general admission

Out Da Box, Northwestern’s only multicultural improv and sketch comedy group, is paying homage to Beyonce’s “Renaissance” with its spring show this weekend.

Symphonic Wind Ensemble

Pick-Staiger Concert Hall

Friday 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: $5 for students, $8 general admission

The Bienen School of Music’s Symphonic Band, conducted by Mallory Thompson, is performing Cindy McTee’s “Notezart” and the finale to Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide,” titled, “Make Our Garden Grow.”

Creating Small Thunder

Mussetter-Struble Theater

Friday 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., Saturday 2 and 7:30 p.m.

Written and directed by Bienen and Communication sophomore Mya Vandegrift, “Creating Small Thunder” is a new opera about a queer family confronting what haunts its cattle farm.

Splinter: A Romantic Comedy

Puth Family Theater of Music Institute of Chicago

Saturday 7 p.m., Sunday 6 p.m.

Tickets: $30

Based on French drama masterpieces, “Splinter” is about love of the theater, friendship, fidelity and the ability to dream. Directed by Dmitriy Yakubov, the one-act play stars Amy Beth Hart, George Dougherty and K.C. Khan.
