A 65-year-old Evanston woman reported an iPad and jewelry had been taken from her house in the 1800 block of Grey Avenue on Sunday, police said.

The woman told police that family members had been over while she was out of the house. She noticed a gold ring and bracelet of unknown value and an iPad were missing when she returned, Evanston Police Department spokesman Perry Polinski said.

The woman said she believes a male relative in his mid-20s is responsible for the theft, Polinski said.
