Burglar steals technology from north Evanston home

About $2,000 worth of possessions were stolen Tuesday morning from a north Evanston residence near campus.

Residents of the home in the 900 block of Gaffield Place found their wallet, black backpack containing a Apple MacBook Pro and Xbox One with its controllers and cords missing from their living room area at about 10:30 p.m., Dugan said.

There was no sign of forced entry, but both front and rear doors were unlocked during the time of the incident, he said.
