Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon near the Chicago-Evanston border, police said.

The people were hit at about 5 p.m. near the intersection of West Howard Street and North Sacramento Avenue, Chicago police spokesman Thomas Sweeney said.

No other details about the accident were available as of 9:30 p.m.
