Three No. 1 recruits officially announced their plans to attend Northwestern on Wednesday, signing their National Letters of Intent.

Stevan Micic at 125 pounds, Bryce Brill at 157 pounds and Johnny Sebastian at 178/184 pounds headline coach Drew Pariano’s newest class. All are ranked at the top of their respective weight class by Amateur Wrestling news.

The signings continue a string of excellence for Pariano. Current redshirt freshman Jason Tsirtsis was No. 2 overall in the country when he decided to attend NU.

Micic has bulked up after wrestling at lower weights, including 103 pounds as a freshman and 106 as a sophomore. In his sophomore year, he went 47-0 en route to a state title. Micic currently attends Hanover Central High School in Indiana.

Brill, who attends Mount Carmel High School in Illinois, is a three-time state champion. He is the third overall recruit in the nation.

Sebastian signed after an intense recruiting process, with coaches from all of the country’s major conferences courting the star over the summer. Sebastian, whose father coached him to a national championship, hails from north New Jersey.
