Evanston police arrested a 46-year-old man this morning as he tried to break into a Dempster Street apartment.
Officers found Evanston resident Bobbie Clark trying to enter through a window in the 800 block of Dempster Street, police said.
Clark, of the 1800 block of Lake Street, was charged with attempted residential burglary and is scheduled to appear in court June 20.
