As the sun clears over Lake Michigan and the leaves return to Evanston’s trees, seven of Northwestern’s 19 athletic teams begin their seasons this Spring. From NU’s lacrosse dynasty looking for their eighth national championship to a baseball squad hoping to rebound from an 18-36 year, optimism is in the air on campus.
