Trays vs. sleds

In the spirit of snow and all things snow day, let’s discuss the merits of sledding on a tray versus on an actual sled.

Why trays rock:

1. It’s small and easy to carry back up the hill

2. If it’s a quality made lunch tray, then you’re guaranteed good speed

3. It’s free (if borrowed from a dining hall)

4. You can easily perform fancy tricks with a tray

5. Trays scream broke college student

Why the classic sled never fails:

1. You can fit multiple people on a sled

2. You can purchase a sled to match your winter coat

3. Sledding has the word sled in it

4. Strings/handles make it just as easy to carry uphill

5. You have your choice of shapes: saucer, toboggan and more

Which do you prefer? Sled or Tray?
