The north gate to NU’s baseball field was found ajar early Wednesday morning, police said.
Officers arrived at the baseball field, located at Ashland Avenue and Isabella Street, at approximately 12:51 a.m. in response to a call.
They searched the area but did not find signs of criminal activity, McAleer said.
The lock to the gate remains missing.
