The Northwestern men’s tennis team knocked off No. 41 Harvard (0-2) at home Sunday 4-3, moving its record to 4-4 for the season.
The Cats took the doubles point to start the dual. Junior Matt Christian and senior Adam Schaechterle fell early at the No. 1 doubles spot, but junior Willie Lock and sophomore Juan Gomez won at No. 3.
Junior Christian Tempke and freshman Marc Dwyer snagged a win at No. 2 doubles, putting the Cats up 1-0.
“It was good to win the doubles point,” coach Paul Torricelli said. “It ultimately really made a difference in the match. We knew we would be in for a battle, and it was.”
