Damon Gough, a.k.a. Badly Drawn Boy, seems to be doing quite well for himself. After breaking onto the pop music scene and winning Britain’s coveted Mercury Music Prize in 2000 for his debut The Hour of Bewilderbeast, the be-hatted troubadour returns with a whole new set of oh-so-catchy masterpieces.
Gough’s sophomore effort, the soundtrack to the upcoming movie “About A Boy,” continues to spotlight his knack for combining folk, rock and pop, resulting in a lovely batch of breezy, melodious songs.
