Do you know where your trash goes after you toss it out? In Evanston, it’s taken to the Advanced Disposal waste transfer station on Church Street. There, the trash is consolidated and taken by bigger trucks to landfills farther away. 

Before it’s taken away though, all those tons of trash are processed at the station. So what would you do if all that trash was right in your backyard?
