If you’re looking for weekend plans, here are some performances you won’t want to miss.

Vibrant Colors Collective, Northwestern’s first multicultural theatre board, is hosting its inaugural production this weekend. It features a cabaret of 13 songs originally produced by artists of color and highlights student singers, dancers and musicians of color.
Graffoniks
Wirtz Ballroom
Friday 7 and 10 p.m., Saturday 7 and 10 p.m.
Student tickets: $5. Non-student tickets: $10.
Graffiti Dancers and Tonik Tap are hosting their annual collaboration show this weekend, seamlessly blending contemporary and tap fusion. The theme of the show is “Enemies to Lovers.”
tick, tick…BOOM!
The Edge Theater: 5451 N Broadway, Chicago, IL
Friday 7:30 p.m., Saturday 3 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday 3 p.m.
Tickets: $12-35 online
Written by the late Jonathan Larson, this version of “tick, tick…BOOM!” — directed by BoHo Artistic Associate Bo Frazier — tells the autobiographical story of Jonathan, a struggling New York composer entering his 30s. This is the show’s opening weekend.
Saturday Night Standup Comedy Show

Saturday 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Tickets: $30 online, not available at the door
The Laugh Factory presents a compilation of its best standup comedy. The 7:30 p.m. performance features comedian Marty DeRosa, with 9:30 p.m. showcasing comedian Ali Drapos.
RPG-13: A Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Improv Comedy Show
The Newport Theater: 956 W Newport Ave., Chicago, IL
Sunday 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $10 online
“RPG-13: A Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Improv Comedy Show” is exactly what it sounds like. With the help of the Game Master and the ensemble, audience members will create the narrative and watch as it unfolds on the stage.
