Shuttle services resume with new 201 bus route, stop changes

Drew Gerber, Assistant Campus Editor

Shuttle service has resumed for the 2015-16 academic year with some changes to the Intercampus and Evanston Loop routes as well as the introduction of the free Chicago Transit Authority 201 bus service for Northwestern students.

NU and the CTA agreed to a five-year partnership this summer, replacing the old Ryan Field shuttle service with free rides on the 201 bus for NU students and employees. The partnership should result in increased service for students, according to the CTA, because the 201 runs more frequently with longer hours.

For both the Intercampus and Evanston Loop shuttle routes, the Sherman/Noyes stop has been moved one block south to the corner of Sherman Avenue and Gaffield Place. The Campus Loop shuttle route remains unchanged.
