WHAT: A black dress, black and white graphic sweater, army green jacket, patterned tights, black boots and a red backpack

WHERE: Outside McCulloch Hall

WHY: I was immediately attracted to Haley’s outfit because of her easy, cool-girl vibe. She looks stylish, but not too overdone. She understands the power of layering, which is especially useful in this bizarre mix of spring weather.

THE BREAKDOWN: Haley manages to take the ultimate going-out piece and style it for daytime. Her LBD looks ready for class with patterned black tights and tall black boots, while her graphic sweater barely peeks out from under her neutral jacket. The length of her jacket is perfect — just below the hem of her dress. Pops of color from her backpack and her bike stand out against the black canvas. She looks cool, collected and put together, but with an effortless feel.
