ESPN’s “College GameDay” will broadcast from Northwestern on Oct. 5, the network announced Saturday.
The broadcast will preview the No. 17 Wildcats’ Homecoming game against No. 4 Ohio State. The athletic department announced Monday that the game will air 7 p.m. on ABC.
GameDay has previewed NU games twice since its 1987 inception. In 2010, the show aired from the Nov. 20 game against Illinois at Wrigley Field. In 1995, GameDay covered the Cats when they played Iowa.
