McShane Construction and Subcontractors will start construction on Central Street on Oct. 2. The company will establish an underground utility connection for a new building at 1700 Central St, according to a city news release issued Sept. 27.
Workers will build water, storm and sanitary connections beneath the roadway. They will also patch the road and sidewalk where necessary.
Construction will require the closing of one lane of traffic in each direction as well as some portions of the sidewalk. Work will end Oct. 16.
